At the beginning of the 20th century, the Grand Hotel Union was one of the biggest and most modern hotels in Southeast Europe. It was designed by Croatian architect Josip Vancas, an expert in the Viennese style of architecture. In 1998, the hotel was refurbished and transformed into an elegant and modern hotel that today offers 187 rooms.
Grand Hotel Union is actually one part of Grand Hotel Union. Together with Grand Hotel Union Business and Central Hotel it produces a perfect whole, with a conference centre that comprises of 24 conference halls, wellness centre with saunas and swimming pool, Franky's bar and spacious hotel garage.

Late check-outs are possible, upon request. Extra charges might apply.
Accommodation is free for children up to 12 years in double room with two adults. Children sharing either a single or double room with one adult are charged the full room rate.
If a booking is cancelled up to 48 hours before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Otherwise, guests are charged for a one night stay. The same applies to no-shows.
The room rate is inclusive of buffet breakfast, free use of swimming pool, free use of sauna, free use of fitness centre and VAT. Baby beds are provided for no extra charge.
Please note the following charges:
- double room (single use) is 15 Euros per day
- extra bed is 27 Euros per day
- tourist tax cost is 1 Euro per person per day.
